Jesús Salvador Treviño (born March 26, 1946 in El Paso, Texas) is an American television director of Mexican descent. He is alternatively credited under a number of names: ''Jesus Salvador Trevino'', ''Jesus Trevino'', ''Jesus Travino'', ''Jesus Treviño'', ''Jesús S. Treviño'' and ''Jesús Treviño''. ==Early career== Jesús Treviño began his career in film and television as a student activist documenting the 1960s Chicano civil rights struggle with a super-8 camera. Throughout the late sixties and early seventies, he was both a participant in and a chronicler of the events and issues of that time.
